Steve Uncles: I'm not a racist, honest
The English Democrats' PR guru Steve Uncles has claimed that the racist joke that he posted to two internet forums that he frequents was posted by someone else using his account.
How sad that Steve cannot take responsibility for his 'joke' and apologise, and how sad that he is still continuing with his personal vendetta with the tragically deceased Chris Lightfoot.
I'd be interested to hear from the forum administrators of the British Democracy forum and the Cross of St George forum, from whence the two screenshots came, to know whether the offensive posts were posted from an IP address consistent with Steve Uncles' other postings. I have little doubt that they were.
Alan England, who runs the English Democrat's English Lobby division, knows Steve Uncles personally from his time on the EDP's national council. Posting as 'Cassie' on the British Democracy Forum, Alan offers us this insight into Steve Uncles' character: "Uncles is a liar, deceitful and unduly secretive"
The only funny thing about Steve's joke is the fact that Google sees fit to use it to advertise a Polish dating site.

I'm soooooo relieved to be out of the madhouse that is the EDNC..... I have joined a growing number of ex members deemed not enough on message with the top duo to have bad vibing the meetings...
I have my life back - as well as my garage. The last link was to dump a load of ED printed stuff from the place where my car should rest... I emailed the ED Director of Communications a few times to see if he wanted to collect them - but as per usual, the Comms Boss didn't feel like talking to me... Hey ho, looks like the ED's loss is the paper recyclers gain...

It flabbers my gast that he cannot see how much damage he, personally, has done to the English nationalist cause. So many people despise him, so many have left the EDP because of him, the EDP is a laughing stock because of him, and the internet is awash with people attacking him and calling him an idiot or worse. Unbelievably he seems to think that the fact that people attack him is a sign that he is winning, on many occasion he's written "I must be doing something right because everyone thinks I'm a complete cunt" - or words to that effect.
It's quite an achievement to unite left and right, BNP and UKIP and Tory and Labour and Lib Dem and even members of your own party, against you, but Uncles seems to manage it with consummate ease. I've never in my life come across someone so blissfully unaware of his own stupidity. Ignorance can be bliss sometimes, and for Uncles its something that he can't do without because if he wasn't such an ignorant fool he would horrify himself.
It made me laugh like a drain when I read him attempt at patronising people by advising them to educate themselves to his standard (see here and here). The Political Brain? Any brain would be a start!

To be honest, I always thought he had summat maybe slightly 'Philbyesque' about him... I mean, if you are committed to a cause WHY go out of your way to so damage it?

I wish the Eng Dems well. They're the only party that gives a damn about England.
Personally though I think they've made a lot of mistakes. Which isn't bad in itself, but they have to be recognised in order to change for the better.
The talking to England First was a mistake. There was never any need to. Absolutely no benefit gained from it and a great deal lost.
The alliance with the Jury Team was a mistake. It's as if the EngDems don't have faith in their own message.
Trying to run before they can walk. I can see why they contested the EU elections. That was worth it but they're not ready for general elections. They should be concentrating on local politics imo.
And above all they need some radical ideas in their manifesto.
How about cutting income tax for nurses and teachers? How about making tax payable by time donated? How about having the people decide where the last 5% of their taxes go. How about committing to referenda on all the big issues? How about exploring direct democracy? How about a sensible approach to drugs?
And the membership need to step up to the plate and demand an independent England rather than half baked federalism.

But I have to say that delivering a simple message of exclusion, disenfranchisement, disrespect and fiscal gbh delivered to the English public is compromised by needless sortees into other areas of politics. For instance the tie up with England First was an absolute joke... it did nothing but give England's enemies an easy open goal..... as predictable as England losing to Germany in the World Cup.
Perhaps the only way forward for the EDP is to rationalise the aim of the mission, because at the moment it's all too much about internecine feuding with the usual suspects apparently doing their level best to drag the cause of English nationalism into the gutter whilst retaining their positions as Alpha leaders.
Having left them, I don't feel any sadness - just relief at being happy to have gotten out of it - and not having to cringe once more as I read the latest ill conceived forum comment from the EngDems Poet Laureate.
Personally, I don't really think they have the policies, personnel and political nous to succeed - but that is not nessecarily a bad thing because there is such a demand for action building amongst ordinary grass roots voters in England that something will almost certainly come along to fill that void..
It's just a hell of a pity that the hierachy within the ED's thought it a good idea to liaise with parties like England First in the first place...... because those actions are history, can never be struck from the record and will always be there, waiting to be used by England's many enemies...

But I do wish the CEP, FEA and anyone else who is genuinely and rationally trying to improve the lot of the people of England well (whether I agree with them on everything or not).
The EDP has become a holding pen for the bitter, bigotted and deluded, and anyone who remains there in whatever capacity has all the public evidence they need to understand why others may despise them through association. Unfortunately the EDP is not quite as efficient as the attic into which the family consign the strange and embarrassing relative, as they occasionally escape - as Toque has witnessed, the hierarchy recently went on an awayday to waleshome.org to insult Welsh people. Still, some containment is better than none I suppose, so in a way I do appreciate the party's existence...
