Organised religion
A Muslim protester who dressed as a suicide bomber has apologised "wholeheartedly" to the families of the July 7 bombings and said it was not his aim to cause offence.

The thing with organised religions is that in belonging you choose to associate yourself with that group, and the rest of that group chooses to associate itself with you. You are all ambassadors for each other and you and your religion will be judged according to the actions of you and yours. Whilst the actions of Muslim baiters may have been a bit churlish the actions of the Muslim community across the world has been an absolute disgrace and has just served to vindicate the cartoonists.
The Muslim world is collectively responsible for these scenes and I hold all Muslims that do not denounce them personally responsible for the flag-burnings, riots, deaths and incitements to kill.

I publish this picture not to offend but simply because I can, that is my right. I'm not a religious man but even if I were I would hope that I would not be so blinded by bigoted dogma as to be unable to recognise which of the images on this page is offensive.
Samizdata has published a particulaly offensive image that all Muslims should find deeply upsetting.

Paul Linford has an interesting take on why this guy shouldn't be outed, but for me this issue is not whether he should be but rath

If there were another source
If there were another source that sated the need for righteous indignation as readily as religion does currently, the Pope (and his ilk) might find themselves looking for new hats.
