The Deracination of the English

Lastly I share the hope of CardinalFire. As he says, if Jon Cruddas is aware of the “deracination of the English”, then the major parties must be aware of English nationalism. Well, I hope so. But they are so concerned to stand on the middle ground that neither feels able to speak for the great mass of the English who do not like their votes being taken for granted. But all we get is abuse for claiming our inheritance. No wonder support for the major parties is so half-hearted.
